Skills development / upskilling

Adapting to the changing world of work
Our deep understanding and experience of the south African education landscape, and in particular of rural contexts, means that our facilitators are well versed in the challenges facing education institutions. Our Skills development program is focused on unemployed youth as well as under skilled employees.
We focus on skills development because of the extremely high unemployment rates in townships and rural communities. Individuals in townships and rural communities often don’t have access to tertiary education institutions and are sitting at home without work. By providing relevant skills we aim to give them a better chance to get a solid job. Our programs target youth and previously disadvantaged women.
Empowerment
By gaining new skills, individuals, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, can improve their socioeconomic status, leading to greater social mobility. Developing new skills boosts self-esteem and confidence, contributing to personal growth and a greater sense of achievement.
